Education and Training
Dr. Syed earned his undergraduate degree at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and completed a medical degree and a master’s degree in public health at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He went on to finish his residency in anesthesiology at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans and a fellowship in interventional pain management at Solar Health System.

Although Dr. Syed prescribes various kinds of medications, including opiates, he tailors his treatment plans to each patient specifically and is passionate about reducing the number of addictive medications in the community.
